General Information

SPCA Kota Kinabalu is a non profit organisation focused on animal welfare, with a primary emphasis on neutering programmes, public education, and reducing stray populations.

Our main focus is controlling stray populations through neutering. Rescue is limited to critical cases, supported by adoption and public awareness efforts.

We are a volunteer driven organisation supported by public donations. Our work includes neutering programmes, rescue for urgent cases, and community outreach.

Our adoption centre is located in Papar, Sabah.

Adoption

The SPCA Kota Kinabalu adoption centre is located at Kg Gana Papar.

Yes. The fee helps cover vaccination, medical care, and preparation costs to ensure the animal is healthy before adoption.

We do not routinely accept animals due to limited space. Owners are encouraged to rehome pets responsibly before considering surrender.
